Conducted users interviews, understanding different restaurant menus types needs, pain points, and the flexibility we’ll need to have.
I have been researched online and offline for inspiration for menus in different styles, from old to new, Gotham to serif, classic with crucial info to modern with images and dish variations.
Research
The first version of Menus in the dashboard was a “slim version”.
All menus were displayed on the same page, editing in place for all items, except dish had an extra complexity with dish options,
therefore I’ve decided to open it in a modal.
